Group

The Swedish Parliamentary Group is comprised of the Members of Parliament from the Swedish People's Party in Finland and one Member of Parliament from the constituency of the Åland islands.

The group pursues a liberal and economically responsible policy and believes in the importance of good education, a rewarding life at work and a dignified old age. On a European level, the Swedish People’s Party of Finland is a member of Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) group of the European Parliament.

The group has 10 members and is chaired by Otto Andersson, his vice-chairs being Mats Löfström and Anders Norrback. The Group gathers in its conference room on the fifth floor at 14.00 every Thursday.
